The setup that turns movements into video souvenirs
An experience with 3 choreographies, capturing dozens of daily videos via QR code.
The challenge
A partner agency called upon our team to design an engaging and immersive animation around the Coca-Cola Sans Sucres brand. The main challenge was to ensure smooth, real-time capture of the participants and to provide a reliable video delivery system to extend the user experience.
Our approach
Development of the Kinect application integrating silhouette detection (T-pose) and the management of three choreographies synchronized with DMX lighting scenarios. Implementation of a video recording system with graphic element overlays (pixel laser, promotional texts). Creation of a mobile landing page for video retrieval via QR code and a Symfony back-office for tracking statistics.
The project
Deployed at high-traffic physical locations such as La Défense and the Saint-Lazare station, this interactive event installation was designed for The Coca Cola Company to promote the Coca-Cola Sans Sucres range. In collaboration with a partner agency, the team developed a Kinect application integrating T-pose silhouette detection to guide participants through three distinct choreographed routines. The performance was captured in real time and synchronized with DMX lighting sequences, while a recording system instantly overlaid promotional graphic elements and visual effects onto the video. Users could then retrieve their personalized souvenir via a QR code leading to a mobile landing page, a technical ecosystem complemented by a Symfony back-office that registered the generation of dozens of videos daily from the very first days of the operation.
