The project
Sony set up a multiplayer arcade competition at its Paris Games Week booth. The challenge was to calculate the strike rate in real time for four simultaneous participants without network latency. The setup combined four gaming consoles, a giant screen, and a vertical leaderboard totem connected via a local network. The installation operated continuously without any technical downtime throughout the five days of the event. The studio handled both the software development and the full on-site scenographic integration.

The challenge
The challenge was to streamline rotations without creating friction at the booth's entrance. Each player had to present or create their PlayStation WAP account to participate. The installation had to start rounds back-to-back immediately to maintain the pace without clogging queues.
The approach
Hosts register profiles on a tablet web application before each round. Four participants step up to the kiosk to compete in a contest game and hammer their controllers. Built in Unity, the engine calculates the cadence in real time on a 3D gauge with sound alerts and multiplier tiers. An 85-inch screen broadcasts the session live, accompanied by a 42-inch kiosk dedicated to the leaderboard. The entire setup integrates DMX lighting control to synchronize lights and sound to the rhythm of button presses.
Results
Five days of continuous operation, from October 30 to November 3, without any technical interruptions. The system ensured the awarding of a daily prize to the highest score of each day of the expo.
