The corporate video portal for energy teams
A mobile app synchronises video feeds and manages secure user authentication for corporate teams.
The project
For its internal seminar, the Engie group deployed a video platform dedicated to energy-related professions. Access required technical integration with Okta single sign-on and internal network security policies. The solution combined two mobile applications and a synchronized Web App to stream continuous video feeds. Employees used the platform on June 12, 2019, during the Engie Green seminar to interact directly.

The challenge
Content had to flow as smoothly as on public networks while meeting the group's security requirements. Logging in required strict integration with the company's Okta authentication. If access was blocked or the video player lagged, team engagement would drop immediately.
Our approach
We developed a mobile application using React Native and a synchronized Web App. Video streams are encoded and distributed in HLS via an AWS pipeline with S3, MediaConvert, and Step Functions. Employees log in using their corporate account, set up their profile with an avatar, and interact via likes and comments. A Symfony-powered back office allows the editorial team to publish media, moderate discussions, and monitor viewership.
