The project
The studio developed an interactive healthcare installation for Allergan Aesthetics' Coolsculpting brand. The system required instantaneous synchronization between an outdoor check-in kiosk, an indoor interactive mirror, and scenographic effects. The team programmed an outdoor touchscreen kiosk, an indoor mirror display, and a post-visit follow-up Web App. The interactive mirror journey triggers live anatomical simulations, ventilation, lighting, and a fragrance diffuser. A single team oversaw the entire software architecture as well as the direct control of the physical actuators.

The challenge
To succeed, the installation had to coordinate an outdoor check-in kiosk, an indoor interactive mirror, and sensory effects without the slightest lag. The visitor journey required live calibration of visitors' reflections and securing every piece of personal data in compliance with the group's IT audits, all while maintaining a smooth flow at the booth entrance.
The approach
Outside, we set up a touchscreen kiosk for registration. It handles GDPR consent and controls access. Inside, the visitor stands before a vertical mirror screen developed in Unity. The interface calibrates their silhouette, allows them to select body areas, and displays clinical before-and-after treatment simulations. In the control room, the software uses DMX to drive light tiles, LED strips, ventilation, mint olfactory diffusion, and spatialized audio. Upon exit, the system triggers an email linking to a personalized web app featuring a practitioner search tool, backed by our administrative back-office.
Results
Real-time synchronization between the outdoor kiosk and the indoor mirror operated seamlessly. Software control of the physical actuators validated the exact sequencing of the cold, airflow, and scent with the visual steps of the simulation.
