The project
An interactive installation deployed for Mnstr and Fanta across two shopping malls for Halloween. The technical challenge: synchronizing DMX strobes, audio, and video streams within enclosed booths without a centralized network. The studio developed the control system for two interactive boxes along with a tablet-based registration web app. An automated pipeline assembled and delivered each personalized video via SMS immediately following the session. The activation recorded 524 participants across both shopping malls.

The challenge
The challenge consisted of automating the entire live workflow. Each group had to experience the action while the machine recorded, edited, and dispatched the videos to their phones within a minute. No downtime was permitted given the continuous stream of visitors.
The approach
At the entrance, participants register in groups of one to three on a tablet web app that collects consents. Inside the Scary Dance and Karaoke booths, our system orchestrates video shooting, audio recording, strobe effects, and video glitches. An emergency stop button on a tablet allows the host to cut the effects and turn the room lights back on instantly. Right upon exiting, an automated pipeline edits the footage together with intro and outro jingles, then sends the link via SMS or email to a sharing platform.
Results
The operation gathered 524 registered participants across the two sites. The platform recorded 172 viewed videos and 51 direct downloads to mobile devices or computers. The system generated 22 shares on Facebook and 11 shares on Twitter.
Results
- 524video entries recorded across two activations
- ≈10 % download conversion rate
