The green screen booth that runs at the station
An event activation at the station processes images and stores 3,727 files on the cloud.
The project
OPPO deployed an interactive installation during an event activation at gare Saint-Lazare and les Halles. The challenge lay in the real-time processing of pedestrian flows on a green screen, featuring distinct visuals for each location. The studio developed the real-time background removal software and connected the hardware to cloud storage. The system processed and saved 3,727 participant images across both sites.

The challenge
The public moves through these halls without waiting. The technical challenge lay in real-time green screen keying, featuring visual variations specific to each location. The tight schedule required machine onboarding, calibration, and testing entirely remotely to ensure total fluidity from the moment doors opened.
The approach
We designed the complete technical architecture for this interactive installation. Facing the screen, participants pose in front of a green screen. Our computer vision algorithms perform live background removal and immediately integrate the graphic elements specific to the venue. To prevent display latency, we cleaned and compressed a heavy 4.5 GB source file into a format optimized for interaction. Behind the scenes, a dedicated cloud infrastructure centralizes processing, archives every generated photo, and reports usage metrics by site.
Results
The system ran seamlessly at the gare Saint-Lazare and Westfield Forum des Halles. In total, 3,727 images were processed, generated, and hosted on the cloud, including tests. The brand received consolidated usage statistics by site at the close of the hosting period.
Results
- 3727 images generated and secured, tests included
