The smartphone routing images to the control room
An event activation pairing a mobile app with printing terminals for a single-day showcase at Palais.
The project
OPPO hosted its guests at the Palais Brongniart around an interactive photo capture and printing installation. The studio had to deliver, test, and deploy the entire setup on-site in under a week. The team developed a mobile application connected in real time to a control station to instantly print each shot. Two smartphones captured the photos with graphic overlays, delivering physical prints directly to attendees. The same team programmed the application and deployed the network infrastructure directly at the venue.

The challenge
On set, there is no room for error. Everything had to run seamlessly for the guests, with a complete technical rollout completed in less than a week. To keep up with this pace, we managed the software and the physical installation without intermediaries, ensuring a continuous flow between photo captures and prints.
The approach
We developed a mobile application using Unity and Android featuring live graphic overlays during photo capture. For this event activation, the smartphones operated in real-time communication with the printing station via a Node.js and Symfony server. We configured the local network and extracted all usage data.
