Immersive 360° Interactive Experience
The project
Designed at the request of Digital Immersion for the Balenciaga brand (Kering group), this 360° gigapixel immersive experience delivers a very high-resolution interactive environment. The system is structured around four modules featuring macro images, cylindrical revolutions, quizzes, and hotspots with a precision of 0.01. To ensure smooth and responsive navigation across all devices, major optimization of the visual assets was carried out, reducing the overall file size from 596.4 MB to 362.1 MB. The technical development, executed notably via Pano2VR and JavaScript, also integrates a multilingual system covering seven languages, utilizing specifically adapted woff2 typography to prevent any text overlap.

Development of a 360° gigapixel immersive experience for Balenciaga, integrating macro images and cylindrical revolutions. The project includes 4 interactive modules equipped with hotspots, quizzes, and full multilingual support.
Context and challenges
Digital Immersion asked The Gobeliners to design a high-resolution interactive environment for the Balenciaga brand (Kering group). The major technical challenge consisted of managing the display of extremely heavy images while ensuring smooth and responsive navigation on mobile and desktop.
Key achievements
Creation of 4 interactive 360° modules integrating precise hotspots (0.01 precision) and quiz modules. Integration of a multilingual system covering 7 languages (FR, EN, IT, CHS, CHT, JP, KO) with specific and optimized typography in woff2 format. Drastic optimization of visual asset weight and advanced management of zoom levels.
Results
Implementation of a functional experience with a significant reduction in file weight (from 596.4 MB to 362.1 MB). The experience offers smooth navigation, without unwanted text overlapping, with adapted zoom levels on all devices.
