Commissioned by Digital Immersion through Malherbe Paris, this virtual reality application offers a multisensory experience for the Guerlain brand. Deployed on a standalone Vive Focus headset, the system immerses the user in a 360° video synchronized with the precise diffusion of the "Nérolie plein sud" and "Herbe troublante" fragrances, achieved by controlling an Olfy connected device via Bluetooth Low Energy. Development in Unity required the implementation of a gaze-navigated interface and precise management of olfactory timings, including diffusion frequency, intensity, and duration. The final application, delivered as an APK, ensures a stable and autonomous immersion while effectively managing hardware constraints such as connection losses and device sleep modes.
