The project

Designed to digitize Engie's low and high voltage technical training, the Virsafe virtual reality application relies on a backend infrastructure and an API developed at the request of Highlab Marketing & Technologies. The major technical challenge involved the secure integration of enterprise SSO authentication via Okta, specifically adapted to the input constraints of a VR environment using a numeric keypad. The team therefore designed a REST API using Symfony and PHP 8 to manage sessions, user roles, and the reporting of anomalies detected directly from the immersive headsets to the back-office. The entire system was containerized with Docker and successfully deployed to Engie's cloud environment via Jenkins and Platform.sh pipelines, following strict validation of security protocols.
