The project
A gamification system ran the Adidas basketball tournament, produced by Mnstr at Studio Kremlin. The event required real-time match refereeing and prize distribution across a network entirely disconnected from the Internet. Three web applications on touchscreen tablets synchronized the locker rooms, game timing, and broadcasting on a giant LED screen. The setup accommodated approximately 82 participants with zero duplicate prize awards throughout five hours of continuous tournament play. This local control system automated the match sequence all the way through to the selection of the two final winners.

The challenge
The challenge consisted of outfitting each player without size errors or duplicate kit distributions. Above all, the entire tournament had to run live, with automated refereeing and dynamic display, on an autonomous local network disconnected from the Internet, without relying on an external connection.
The approach
We developed a suite of three interconnected touchscreen applications. Upon arrival, players register on a dedicated web app and then head to the locker room to collect their gear, managed under strict inventory control. Courtside, referees validate scores and trigger the Believe That challenge draws. Our game engine applies sports rules live, times sequences, and resolves decisive shooting phases. All data instantly feeds the digital scenography on a giant LED screen via a local application server, without routing through the web.
Results
82 participants were registered, equipped without any duplicate distributions, and engaged on the court. The tournament ran continuously for 5 hours live, stringing matches together smoothly until the two winners were determined.
