The project
An interactive touchscreen kiosk quiz was deployed for Mnstr at the Adidas flagship store on the Champs-Élysées. Given the store's heavy foot traffic, the installation had to run uninterrupted and without relying on the local network. The setup features a multilingual web app across two touchscreen kiosks connected to a standalone 4G router. This retail activation recorded 3,263 entries across both kiosks during the event. The studio handled software deployment, network infrastructure, and on-site technical operations.
The challenge
The setup had to handle traffic spikes without ever crashing or relying on the store's network. It was necessary to collect entries in strict compliance with the GDPR, while ensuring complete service continuity. For the agency, the main fear remains a network failure right in the middle of peak footfall.
The approach
Visitors discover a multilingual multiple-choice interactive quiz across two secure touchscreen kiosks. To eliminate any risk of disconnection, we deployed an autonomous network infrastructure on a 4G router. The application runs as a responsive web app built with Next.js and Supabase. We handled server hosting and on-site operational maintenance throughout the entire operation. On the management side, the team monitors footfall live thanks to a reporting back-office. Hourly and daily charts allow for real-time traffic analysis, along with cleaned data exports in CSV format.
Results
The setup logged 3,263 entries on the kiosks installed in the flagship store during the event. The dedicated 4G network and continuous monitoring kept the application accessible at all times, without any service interruption amidst the influx of visitors.
