Engie is deploying a virtual reality training system for its employees in the energy sector. The system required the integration of the enterprise SSO protocol on a standalone headset subject to internal network security policies. The studio developed a web administration application paired with a virtual numeric keypad login interface. The containerized architecture met all IT security requirements prior to auditing on the group's cloud infrastructure. This technical integration ensures access management directly on the client's private network.

  • CI/CD

The system had to run smoothly while complying with IT department standards. The challenge: apply network filtering via IP whitelisting and integrate OKTA SSO directly into the headset. Everything had to be ready and validated before the security audit.

The approach

We developed an administrative web app and a back office to manage trainers and learners. A dedicated REST API handles sessions, course progression, and drop-out tracking. Inside the headset, the user logs in via SSO authentication on a virtual numeric keypad and then selects their trainer. Software integration is based on Docker containerization deployed on the group's Azure cloud infrastructure.
